3 The Expendables is a 2014 American ensemble action film directed by Patrick Hughes, and written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Sylvester Stallone. This is a sequel to the 2012 action movie The Expendables 2, and features the return of actors Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. New additions to the cast include Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammer, Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, Glen Powell, Victor Ortiz and Robert Davi. The story follows the known as "The Expendables" mercenary group, as they conflict with a ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), co-founder of The Expendables, which is determined to destroy the team.
The group of mercenaries, the Expendables, led by Barney Ross, come face to face with the co-founder of the Conrad Stonebanks team. Ross was forced to kill Stonebanks after he became a ruthless arms trader, but Stonebanks survived and made it his mission to destroy the Expendables. Ross used to recruit new and younger generation of Expendables to help the team overcome its former adversary.
